The Zephyr Bulldogs came tearing into Friday's contest with 13 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 60-44 win over Priddy. That's another feather in the cap for Zephyr, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Emily Andrade and Zaylee Haile certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Andrade scored ten points along with seven rebounds, while Haile scored 13 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Sadie Buffe, who scored four points along with seven rebounds.
Zephyr's win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-2. As for Priddy, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 16-3.
Zephyr does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Priddy will head out on the road to challenge the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sidney is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.
