Revere was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Roosevelt on Wednesday. The Minutemen blew past the Rough Riders 15-6. The Minutemen might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by six runs or more this season.

Ashley Gardner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six runs (all of which were unearned) on seven hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Gayle Mishic was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Paige Kelley, who went a perfect 5-for-5 with four stolen bases and five runs.

Revere was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Roosevelt only posted a batting average of .276.

Revere pushed their record up to 14-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Roosevelt, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Revere will take on Field at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Minutemen surely won't give up without a fight. As for Roosevelt, they will be playing at home against Copley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.9 runs per game on average), something the Rough Riders will no doubt try to take advantage of.
