Pearl River have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they will take on Salmen at 7:00 PM. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
Pearl River came into their this week averaging 42.8 points per game, but Pearl River fell well short of that average, and it cost them. They suffered a grim 7-33 defeat to Hahnville two weeks ago. The low total for Pearl River limited their streak of high-flying scores to five in a row.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Salmen, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 7-28 walloping at Archbishop Shaw's hands.
