The Port St. Joe Tiger Sharks will take on the Liberty County Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Port St. Joe was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Franklin County on Friday. The Tiger Sharks were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Seahawks. The result was nothing new for the Tiger Sharks, who have now won eight games by nine runs or more so far this season.
Baylor Partie and Jacob Hensley were a major factor while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Partie pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Hensley pitched 3.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off only two hits. At bat, Partie scored a run while going 1-for-4, while Hensley went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Liberty County rose to the challenge on Monday. They never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. The contest marked the Bulldogs' most dominant win of the season.
Jason Walker tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March.
At the plate, Charlie Sanders was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and one double. Those six RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cayson Evans, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.
Port St. Joe is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for Liberty County, their win bumped their record up to 5-12.
Port St. Joe's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's game. The Tiger Sharks have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Liberty County, though, as they've been averaging only 1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Port St. Joe continue to outrun the ball?
