Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fort Meade). They never let the Mater Brighton Lakes Academy Broncos onto the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Monday. Dylan Flores was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Fort Meade pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Mater Brighton Lakes Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Meade will take on Lake Gibson in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Gibson's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Mater Brighton Lakes Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Orlando Science at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Orlando Science will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Mater Brighton Lakes Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
