Frontier School of Excellence won the last time they faced the Kansas School for the Deaf Jackrabbits, and things went their way on Thursday too. Frontier School of Excellence walked away with a 46-34 victory over Kansas School for the Deaf.
Henry Uti was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 24 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season.
Kansas School for the Deaf's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eli Grove, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds. Tyler McCallum was another key contributor, scoring five points along with six assists and two steals.
Frontier School of Excellence's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Kansas School for the Deaf, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4.
Frontier School of Excellence will head out on the road to take on Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Kansas School for the Deaf, Kansas School for the Deaf and Veritas Christian will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Kansas (Veritas Christian is ranked 318th, while Kansas School for the Deaf is ranked 330th).
