Corinth Christian Academy has gone 6-0 against Westwood Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Thursday. The Corinth Christian Academy Warriors will take on the Westwood Christian Warriors at 5:00  p.m.
Last Friday, Corinth Christian Academy ended up a good deal behind Hope Christian Academy and lost  59-45.
  Justin Fowler put forth a good effort for the losing side as  he  posted eight points and four  steals. Another player making a difference was  Hunter Thomas, who  earned 11  points and seven  rebounds.
Meanwhile, Westwood Christian came tearing into  Thursday's  matchup with four straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on Northside Christian Academy with a sharp  61-40 win. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five  contests by 21  points or more this season.
Corinth Christian Academy better keep an eye on  Tripp Kirkland. He was instrumental in Westwood Christian's win,  dropping  a double-double on 19 points and 16  boards. The  game was  Kirkland's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jake Kirkland, who  had 11  points along with six  rebounds and four  blocks.
 Westwood Christian  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 25  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive rebounds in 11 consecutive  matches.
 Westwood Christian is  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last eight contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record  this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 60.4 points per game. As for Corinth Christian Academy, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost six of their last eight games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record  this season.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest:  Corinth Christian Academy has been crashing the  boards this season,  having  averaged 24.2  rebounds per game. However, it's not like Westwood Christian struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 45.3  boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
 Corinth Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their  match against Westwood Christian  in their previous matchup  back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with  a  50-46 victory. Does  Corinth Christian Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Westwood Christian turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
