Football Recap: Brewbaker Tech Extends Winning Streak to Three

Brewbaker Tech had won two straight games and Tessa Wilburn did her part to make it three on Monday. The Rams claimed a resounding 35-0 victory over the Northside Methodist Academy Knights for which the team can thank Wilburn, who threw for 188 yards and five TDs. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times she's played.

Brewbaker Tech didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jaliyah Williams and Dejah Steele.

Brewbaker Tech's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Northside Methodist Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Brewbaker Tech will take on rival Selma at 5:00 p.m. on the 16th. Meanwhile, Northside Methodist Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Enterprise at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
