Baseball Recap: Model Takes a Loss

Model suffered their closest loss since March 25th on Thursday. They fell just short of the Bath County Wildcats by a score of 8-6. The Patriots were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

Kayden Wade made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with four stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.

Model's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Bath County, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-13-1 record this season.

Model will head out to square off against Estill County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bath County, they will square off against Bourbon County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats are facing the Colonels at the right time seeing as the Colonels are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
