Concordia had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They never let the Wellington-Napoleon Tigers get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. Olivia Hemme made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
In other batting news, Addison Roepe was a standout: she scored three runs and stole four bases while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.
