Wasatch Academy took a serious blow against Waterford, falling 46-11. Wasatch Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-5.
Anne Howard was the offensive standout of the match as she scored 15 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Waterford's points. Kenley Carter was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 5 rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Wasatch Academy and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Waterford, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Wasatch Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Utah Military Academy - Hill Field at 5:30 p.m. on December 12th. As for Waterford, they will be playing at home against Gunnison Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gunnison Valley has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
