The Finney Falcons scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Lima Christian 59-28 on the road. The result was nothing new for Finney, who have now won three games by 27  points or more  so far this season.
 Despite the loss, Lima Christian still got an impressive performance from   Alyssa Marsh, who  scored 13 points along with seven  steals and five  rebounds. The  match was  Marsh's fifth in a row with at least ten points.  Rachel Negbegble was another key contributor,  scoring four points along with eight  rebounds.
 Finney's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Lima Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 4-1.
 Finney will have some time to savor their  win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Harley Allendale Columbia at 7:30  p.m.  on January 8, 2024. Lima Christian will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Jasper-Troupsburg at 2:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Jasper-Troupsburg will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 209th, while Lima Christian is ranked 47th).
