The St. Francis Christian Patriots came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They snuck past Valley Christian Academy with a 27-22 win. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points St. Francis Christian has scored all season.
Valley Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Elle Mason, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds and two steals. Mason hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Lillie Conforti, who scored seven points.
St. Francis Christian pushed their record up to 6-3 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Valley Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.
