When it comes to explaining why New York School for the Deaf lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kalilou Kaba. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points along with 6 steals. Kaba scored a full 59.3% of New York School for the Deaf's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
New York Military Academy's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for New York School for the Deaf, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
