The Armstrong River Hawks entered their tilt with the Indiana Little Indians with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Armstrong strolled past Indiana with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 49-34. Given Armstrong's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 89th, while Indiana is ranked 229th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Armstrong's victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. As for Indiana, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.
Armstrong won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Neshannock at 7:30 p.m. on December 22nd. Neshannock will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. Indiana will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Greensburg Salem at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2024.
