Through three weeks, the No. 1 team in Northern California isn't just Serra of San Mateo because it sounds right. The Padres have shown it on the field. They opened with a 17-12 win at Folsom and rallied from 14 down in the fourth quarter to upend De La Salle, which has now lost three times in the last year after its remarkable 30-year, 318-game unbeaten streak against NorCal teams north of Fresno.
