The Wright City Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge Christian Fellowship at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wright City is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.
Wright City suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They were dealt a 68-36 defeat at the hands of Elsberry. While losing is never fun, Wright City can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 420th, while Elsberry is ranked 150th).
Christian Fellowship suffered their closest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They fell just short of Sunnydale Academy by a score of 43-40. Christian Fellowship's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Emma Kate Bradley, who scored ten points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Kylie Babich, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
Wright City's record now sits at 3-8. Christian Fellowship's record is now 10-4.
