Liberty County will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Florida State University High School, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 14-7 margin over the Seminoles on Tuesday. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by six runs or more this season.

Cha'Miya Williams was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mackenzie Walker, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Lauren Davis, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and one double.
Liberty County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .486. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Florida State University High School only posted a batting average of .296.
Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Blountstown walked away with it. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Wildcats on Monday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Blountstown's win bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Liberty County, their victory bumped their record up to 17-3.
Liberty County took their win against Blountstown when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 10-3 score. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
