Bear Bachmeier's Big Game Leads Murrieta Valley over Los Alamitos
Starting off the list is Murrieta Valley's Bear Bachmeier, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Bachmeier rushed for 114 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 182 yards and two touchdowns on only 16 passes. Those 114 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Murrieta Valley, bringing their record for this year to 10-2. Bachmeier and Murrieta Valley will square off against Oaks Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Friday, Vista Murrieta got the W thanks in part to Devon Leonard playing the best football he has all season. Leonard rushed for 176 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The victory was the third in a row for Vista Murrieta, bringing their record for this year to 8-4. Leonard and Vista Murrieta are on the road again on Friday to play Edison at 7:00 p.m.

Husan Longstreet and Co. Win Ninth in a Row
Husan Longstreet was instrumental in extending Centennial's winning streak to nine on Friday. Mission Viejo had no answer to Longstreet as he threw for 216 yards and a touchdown while completing 73.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 52 yards and a touchdown.
On the season, Longstreet has thrown 19 touchdowns while averaging 182.3 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had two rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to six.
