Cypress Ranch's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Anaiah White, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds. Dolce Sypouo was another key contributor, scoring four points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Cypress Woods' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kosi Igwebuike, who scored nine points along with ten rebounds, and Jada Luke who scored eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chayna Thomas, who scored nine points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Cypress Ranch and bumps their season record up to 17-11. As for Cypress Woods, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-17 record this season.
Cypress Ranch will be playing in front of their home fans against Cypress Springs at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cypress Springs will be looking to extend their current 19-game winning streak. As for Cypress Woods, they will head out on the road to take on Cypress Lakes at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cypress Lakes is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 52.9 points per game.
