San Antonio Memorial has struggled against Southside recently, as their contest on Thursday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Gabryela Galvan was her usual excellent self, scoring 19 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals for Southside. That makes it two consecutive games in which Galvan has scored at least 25% of Southside's points. Mckayla Flores was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
San Antonio Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Southside, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.
San Antonio Memorial will head out on the road to face off against McCollum at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. McCollum is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Southside is on the road again on Friday and play against Providence Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on December 1st. Hopefully Providence Catholic focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Thursday.
