Leading Summit Christian Academy to victory were Ava Christophel and Jirah Comeaux. Christophel dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds, while Comeaux scored 17 points along with nine rebounds and six steals. Comeaux is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Liz Twigg, who scored three points along with three steals.
Harper Sullivan and Nora LeMay certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Sullivan scored four points along with four steals and two blocks, while LeMay scored no points. Sullivan is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
Summit Christian Academy pushed their record up to 9-4 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Suffolk Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-9.
