The biggest upset of the week belonged to Paola, who took down 60th ranked Louisburg, 14-7.
Eudora took down Baldwin 20-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Andrew Ballock threw for two yards and ran for 123 yards in the win.
DeSoto's dynamic duo of Corbin Clark and Zach Griffiths proved tough for St. James Academy to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Clark threw for 129 yards and two touchdowns and Griffiths had 53 yards receiving. Austin Gilbert helped DeSoto's passing attack out by catching two balls for 52 yards.
Michael Buffkin made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Wildcats beat the Thunder. The 5-foot-8 junior recorded one fumble.
DeSoto's Clark and Griffiths have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Frontier in both passing and receiving yards. Clark has thrown for 989 yards this season, while Griffiths, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 31 catches for 413 yards. Ballock from the Cardinals leads the league in rushing with 759 yards.
Tom Byers' team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on St. James Academy. Clark ran for 27 yards in the win.
