The Fletcher Senators will face off against the Bartram Trail Bears at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fletcher will be strutting in after a victory while Bartram Trail will be coming in after a loss.
Fletcher took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top against Sandalwood by a score of 5-1.

Bruce Neel tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk). He has become a key player for Fletcher: the team is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-3 otherwise.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jakeb McDougall, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Frank Lacroix also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
Meanwhile, Bartram Trail was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 3-2 to Bishop Kenny, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.
Moises Devine made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole four bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Bay, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases.
Fletcher pushed their record up to 5-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Bartram Trail, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Fletcher has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Bartram Trail struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Fletcher couldn't quite finish off Bartram Trail in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 and fell 3-1. Will Fletcher have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other baseball content.
