There's no place like home for the Clarke County Bulldogs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 37-36 victory over St. Luke's Episcopal. For Clarke County, this counts as revenge for the 45-41 defeat St. Luke's Episcopal walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ahja Wilder, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kalaysia Robinson, who scored six points along with three blocks.
Clarke County's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for St. Luke's Episcopal, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clarke County will take on Blacksher at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Blacksher will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for St. Luke's Episcopal, they will be playing at home against Chickasaw at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
