The Albemarle Bulldogs stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past Mount Pleasant 74-21 at home. The victory was familiar territory for Albemarle who now have three in a row.
It was another big night for Amari Baldwin, who scored 22 points along with seven assists and four steals. Baldwin is crushing the point category: she's posted at least 16 every time she's taken the court this season. Kai Spencer was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five steals and two blocks.
Albemarle's victory bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Mount Pleasant, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.
Albemarle will head out on the road to take on Gray Stone Day at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Albemarle is coming into the game with six straight victories on the road, meaning Gray Stone Day will have to defend against a team hungry for a win. As for Mount Pleasant, they will be playing at home against North Stanly at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
