The Branson Pirates scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 62-20 win over Parkview. The win was some much needed relief for Branson as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Branson pushed their record up to 7-7 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Parkview, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-16.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Branson will take on Republic at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Republic knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Branson likes a good challenge. As for Parkview, they will be playing at home against Rolla at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Rolla will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak.
