Kaden Olson Has Career Rushing Day
Sadly, Kaden Olson posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Havana over Abingdon/Avon on Friday. Olson rushed for 76 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 223 yards and a touchdown while completing 76.2% of his passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 59 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Havana is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. Olson will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Monmouth United on Friday.

Astoria/VIT Gets a Boost from Foglesong in 34-7 Victory
Astoria/VIT found a leader in Kaden Foglesong as the squad took down Monmouth United on Friday. Nobody could stop Foglesong as he picked up 60 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 48 yards. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up two sacks and making seven total tackles.
Monmouth United's probably not too fond of Foglesong given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Foglesong saw the Red Storm), he picked up 153 receiving yards and a touchdown.
