Pine Ridge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Travis Jackson, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds. It was the first time this season that Jackson scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Elijah Laird, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Several Titans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Pine Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for University, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.
Pine Ridge will head out on the road to challenge the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Florida (DeLand is ranked 418th, while the Panthers are ranked 411th). As for University, they will be playing at home against the Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Deltona's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matchups.
