Softball Recap: Ogilvie Has No Trouble Against Mcgregor

Ogilvie got themselves on the board against McGregor on Monday, but McGregor never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Mercuries with a sharp 15-0 victory. The contest marked the Lions' most dominant win of the season.

Mia Sholtz made a big impact no matter where she played. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. Sholtz was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Tatum McIlroy was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Josie Bitz was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Ogilvie always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .607. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Ogilvie is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.
