Windermere Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brandon Bass Jr., who scored 27 points. Malachi Martis was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with nine rebounds and three blocks.
Gulfport's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-8. As for Windermere Prep, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Gulfport will face off against Hancock at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
