Atlantic is 0-6 against University since March of 2021 but things could change on Monday. Atlantic will host University at 4:30 p.m. Atlantic is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.

Atlantic fell victim to Father Lopez and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Green Wave. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Sharks were not able to get on the board.

Atlantic saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Cronin, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask University). Their pitchers stepped up to hand West Port a 16-0 shutout on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Titans considering their two-run performance the game before.

Brody Constantine looked comfortable as he struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Alonso Delgado, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Jesus Marrero was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

University hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Port struck out 11 times.

With the victory, University broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-8-2. As for Atlantic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-4.
