The GEO Next Generation Eagles were the 78-71 winner over the Thrival Indy Academy Aviators when they last played one another back in December of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. GEO Next Generation took a serious blow against Thrival Indy Academy on Wednesday, falling 63-21.
Isiah Jimison was GEO Next Generation's leading scorer, having posted seven points.
GEO Next Generation now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Thrival Indy Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. GEO Next Generation will face off against Union at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Union comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 21 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Thrival Indy Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against BELIEVE Circle City at 7:15 p.m. on February 8th. Thrival Indy Academy is facing BELIEVE Circle City at the right time seeing as BELIEVE Circle City is stuck on a eight-game losing streak.
