Turtle Mountain had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They took their game against Valley City on Friday 28-15. That result is just more of the same for Turtle Mountain, who also won the last time these teams played. This was the first game for both teams, giving Turtle Mountain a 1-0 record and starting Valley City off at 0-1.
Next week, Turtle Mountain take on Wahpeton at 7:30 PM. As for Valley City, they will face of against St. Mary's Central.
