While Strafford put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for East Newton. Strafford was the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over East Newton. Considering the Indians have won four matchups by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Strafford is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. East Newton's loss dropped their record down to 3-2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Strafford will take on Springfield Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Newton, they are taking a road trip to face off against Billings at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
