The Elba Tigers waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins but they left with four. They took down Opp 58-44. That's another feather in the cap for Elba, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Despite the loss, Opp still got an impressive performance from Dorian Harris, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Harris hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Colby Ballard, who scored nine points along with ten rebounds.
Elba is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Opp, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.
