The Falls Church Jaguars will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Lewis Lancers at 7:00 p.m. Falls Church comes in on a streak of failing to score more than six points in their last seven games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
Falls Church fell victim to Mount Vernon's stalwart defense two weeks ago and couldn't make it onto the board. They took a serious blow against the Majors, falling 56-0.
Meanwhile, Lewis lost to Justice at home by a decisive 34-20 margin on Friday.
Despite the loss, Lewis got a solid performance out of Diontae McDaniel, who rushed for 70 yards and two touchdowns. Eli Morris got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
The losses dropped Falls Church to 0-7 and Lewis to 2-5.
Everything came up roses for Falls Church against Lewis in their previous meeting back in October of 2022 as the squad secured a 52-7 win. Will Falls Church repeat their success, or does Lewis have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
