The Bolles Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell to Bishop Kenny 58-53. Bolles has not had much luck with Bishop Kenny recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Despite the loss, Bolles still got an impressive performance from CJ Ennis, who scored 16 points along with three steals. Ennis has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Reed Worley was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds.
Bolles has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season. As for Bishop Kenny, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bolles and Episcopal School of Jacksonville will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Bishop Kenny, they will be playing in front of their home fans against University Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. University Christian will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
