The Biggs Wolverines will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Willows Honkers at 7:00 p.m.
Last Friday, Biggs was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 34-28 to Hamilton.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Zach Smith, who rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Brady Smith, who rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.
Willows can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 29-20 win over Williams. The win was just what Willows needed coming off of a 34-7 loss in their prior match.
Jonny Esparza was on fire: he rushed for 235 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry.
Hamilton's victory bumped their season record to 6-2 while Biggs' loss dropped theirs to 5-3.
Biggs couldn't quite finish off Willows in their previous matchup back in October of 2022 and fell 21-18. Will Biggs have more luck at home instead of on the road?
