Baseball Recap: Garfield Drops Highest Score of Season Against East

Garfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the East Dragons, falling 21-11. On the bright side, the 11- run effort marked the Rams' highest-scoring match to date.

Garfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for East, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Garfield will venture away from home to square off against Rittman at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for East, they will head out to face off against North at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.6 runs per game on average), something the Dragons will no doubt try to take advantage of.
