The biggest upset of the week belonged to Bowman Academy, who took down 174th ranked Boone Grove, 28-21.
Linton-Stockton added to the longest winning streak in Freelance this week by beating Tecumseh, 28-24. The victory was the 11th in a row for the Miners.
Stu Dillon made the biggest impact on defense this week as Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory defeated Western Boone. The 6-foot-1 senior forced 1 fumble and racked up 1 sack.
J Graham Lindman threw for 196 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Daniel Beeks was the best receiver in the league this week as Southern Wells lost to Southwood. Beeks tallied 2 receptions for 100 yards. Brad Woodward helped Southern Wells' passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 43 yards.
Trinity Lutheran's Blake Levy and Jonathan Rollins led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Levy has thrown for 2,881 yards this season, while Rollins has 57 catches for 1,099 yards. North Daviess's Colton Lengacher leads the league in rushing yards with 2,653.
The marquee game in Freelance this week will be the clash between Roncalli and Indianapolis Bishop Chatard. The Rebels enters the game ranked 24th in the state, while the Trojans ranks 15th.
Accruing a total of 25 touchdowns this year, Adam Grannan has thrown for 1,921 yards with 7 interceptions.
Matt Bell has rushed for 903 yards on 125 carries so far this year.
Roncalli was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating Lebanon. Bruce Scifres' team came in at 24 in the state poll after placing at number 29 last week.
