Softball Recap: Dixie's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Dixie can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They never let the Millard Eagles get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Flyers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The team relied heavily on Eliza Kesterson, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Chesney Robbins, who scored two runs while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Dixie's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Millard, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Dixie has already played their next game (against Juab), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Millard, they will venture away from home to square off against Enterprise at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Millard is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.
