The Scranton Knights fell victim to the Delaware Valley Warriors''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They took a serious blow against the Warriors, falling 40-0. While losing is never fun, Scranton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 240th, while Delaware Valley is ranked 73rd).
Among those leading the charge was Justin Kalitsnik, who rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, and also picked up 83 receiving yards and a touchdown. Ryder Machado also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Scranton has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Delaware Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.
Scranton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Delaware Valley is also done with their season.
