Bethel Christian Academy won the last time they faced Wilmington Christian Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Trojans blew past the Patriots 10-3. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Suzanne Rouse made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.

In other batting news, Allison Turnage was excellent, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Emma Ingram, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two runs.

Bethel Christian Academy pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.3 runs over those games. As for Wilmington Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4-1.

Bethel Christian Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on John Paul II Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on the 29th. As for Wilmington Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Freedom Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Freedom Christian Academy will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Wilmington Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
