If Crystal Springs wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Hazlehurst, they should've done a better job of containing Brandon Haines. The Indians blew past the Tigers 45-0 on Thursday with plenty of help from Haines, who rushed for 164 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. Hazlehurst is 4-1 when Haines posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.

Hazlehurst didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Josiah Pittman and Tyelan Mitchell. Mitchell got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The victory made it two in a row for Hazlehurst and bumps their season record up to 5-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 points in those games. As for Crystal Springs, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Hazlehurst didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 57-40 victory against Tylertown on the 7th. Crystal Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
