He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Rocky Porter was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-3. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in April of 2024.  Yoyo Suarez was another key player,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Mogollon pushed their record up to 6-1 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  at home dating back to last season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to  strikeouts: they averaged an imposing seven  strikeouts in those games compared to only four in the others. As for Alchesay, their defeat  ended  a  five-game streak of away wins  dating back to last season and  brought them to 9-3.
 Looking ahead, Mogollon will be playing in front of their home fans against Ray  at 2:00  p.m.  on Friday. Mogollon's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6  runs per game  this season, so Ray's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Alchesay, they are taking a road trip to  square off against Winslow  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
