In what's become a running theme this season, the Rocket City Falcons gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They blew past Master's Hand Christian, posting a 69-19 win on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Rocket City has posted since October 30, 2023.
Leading Rocket City to victory were Elizabeth ( Bess ) Shea and MacKenzie Baker. Shea dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds, while Baker scored 26 points along with four steals. Shea has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Rose Carter, who scored eight points.
Rocket City's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Master's Hand Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rocket City will take on Evangel Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alabama (Evangel Christian is ranked 170th, while Rocket City is ranked 157th). As for Master's Hand Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Marshall Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
