On Saturday McDermitt take on Carlin at 1:00 PM. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
Things haven't been easy for McDermitt, and their game last Saturday only extended their streak of losses to four. They ended up forfeiting their match against Eureka 0-2 last Saturday.
Meanwhile, Carlin found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 6-40 punch to the gut against Pahranagat Valley. The state rankings had actually given Carlin a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the victory. We'll see if McDermitt are able to find more success (and make for a more exciting contest than their last) when the teams meet up.
