The Sports Leadership & Management Spartans can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Kathleen 81-51 on the road. Given Sports Leadership & Management's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 51st, while Kathleen is ranked 575th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Daniel MacGregor continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 28 points along with seven assists and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ramone Seals, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds and six assists.
Sports Leadership & Management is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Kathleen, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.
Sports Leadership & Management's road trip will continue as they head out to face Seffner Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 29th. Seffner Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 294 points over their last four matches. As for Kathleen, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sebring at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
