Pawnee ended up on the wrong side of a tough 71-45 walloping at the hands of the Tigers. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Pawnee in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost seven in a row.
Leading Greenfield/Northwestern to victory were Dylan Pembrook and Talon Albrecht. Pembrook dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds, while Albrecht scored 22 points along with two steals. Albrecht is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Stuart, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Pawnee has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for Greenfield/Northwestern, they pushed their record up to 14-10 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pawnee will take on the Crusaders at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Illinois (Lutheran is ranked 517th, while the Indians are ranked 529th). As for Greenfield/Northwestern, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rockets at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
